HOW TO AVOID 5 FIGURE BURN OUT!

I made all these BIG goals for November, set intentions, and posted income sticky notes EVERYWHERE around the house.

It’s now November 16th, and I haven’t done any marketing, content creation, or discovery calls. No new clients as of yet…

Am I freaking out? Not really.

Truth is, I’m actually still enjoying having my first 5 figure months for the last 90 days.

Hitting my first 5 figures in a month was BEAUTIFUL..

BUT

I was booked solid,  I couldn’t leave my laptop for HOURS.

Sometimes, I was glued to my computer and bedroom/office for an entire day!

NO SUNLIGHT! NO FRESH OXYGEN. NOTHING BUT WORK!

I was staying up for 48 hours at a time.

WELCOME TO 5 FIGURE BURN OUT!!

I realized I needed to chill out when my clients started experiencing the results of my burn out!

I started ignoring emails, web design client projects got behind, I got sick and couldn’t meet deadlines!

Here’s 5 things I’ve done in the last 2 weeks to start building back up my 5 figure momentum, and lift my vibration!

1.) Stopped posting on FB “Just Because.”

I feel like some of us tend to do things in our business just because we feel like we need to, or someone told us to. As a result, there’s no real emotion or intention behind our actions.

I only post now when I feel divinely guided to. When I have something to say or share.

2.) Set Biz & Personal Days

My new schedule:

Monday: Content Creation Day
Tuesday – Thursday: Client Work
Friday up until the evening client work and biz work
Saturday – Sunday: Personal Fun Days

When I take on new web design and branding clients, they get a copy of my work schedule and office hours.

3.) Go to sleep before 1 PM

I was staying up 24-48 hours at a time…working!

Now, I’m making a conscious effort to go to sleep before 1 PM

4.) Set up a client & biz management system (17Hats)

I’m the CEO, Web Designer, VA, Accountant, OBM, and (enter a thousand other biz titles HERE), so it can be tough keeping up with daily tasks.

I signed up for 17Hats recently. I’m still getting used to it, but it’s helped me a lot in keeping up with web design client deadlines and questionnaires.

5.) GET  OUT OF THE HOUSE!

I purposely try to get out of the house for fresh air. I joined a gym in my area!! Getting out of the house has definitely increased my vibration and boosted my creativity level.
